A simple process for people who'd rather not think about websites.

You know your business. I know websites. Here's exactly what happens between your first message and your website going live — and what, if anything, I'll need from you.

The steps

  1. Step 1 of 5

    Tell me about your business

Send an enquiry or give me a call. We'll talk through your services, your customers, the pages you need and any websites you like the look of. No technical knowledge needed — that part's my job.

    You
Share what you do, your logo if you have one, and any photos.
    Me
Plan the pages and confirm the price and timeframe before anything starts.
  2. Step 2 of 5

    I design and build it

I design the layout around your business, write the code, and set up the contact form and SEO foundations. Everything is checked on phones, tablets and larger screens as it's built.

    You
Answer any questions about your services or content.
    Me
Design, develop and optimise the whole website.
  3. Step 3 of 5

    Review

You look over the finished website on your own phone and computer before it goes public. Tell me what you'd like changed, and I'll make the changes before launch.

    You
Look through every page and send your changes.
    Me
Make the changes and prepare for launch.
  4. Step 4 of 5

    Launch

I connect your domain, set up hosting and deployment, switch on HTTPS and run final checks. Then the website goes live on your own address.

    You
Give me access to your domain, or let me help you register one.
    Me
Connect the domain, deploy, test and launch.
  5. Step 5 of 5

    Edit when you need toOptional

If you've chosen the editor, I'll show you how to use it. From then on you can change prices, opening hours, text and photos yourself, whenever you need to.

    You
Decide whether you'd like the editor. It's optional.
    Me
Set up the editor and show you how it works.

Getting online

How long does it take?

It depends on the size of the website and what it needs to do. A one-page site for a sole trader is a different job to a multi-page site with a gallery and a price list.

So rather than quote a number that might not fit, we'll agree a timeframe together before any work begins. You'll always know where things are up to.

Step one is a quick message.

Tell me about your business and what you need. That's all it takes to get started.
